After having already personally handed over the ARC Communication to Dacian Cioloş, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, and to Paolo di Castro, the Chairman of the European Parliament’s AGRI Committee, on 18 November 2010, a delegation of ARC met with the Hungarian presidency of the Council of the EU on 14 March. We presented András Czeti, Head of the Agriculture Department at the Hungarian Permanent Representation in Brussels print copies of the Communication for his colleagues within the Council. Our intention was to remind the agriculture ministers of all EU Member States before their meeting on 17 March about ARC’s message. Mr Czeti kindly promised to distribute the ARC Communication and to be available for future talks with ARC in the on-going reform process.
